Tour Profile
The National Golf Tour is the fastest growing Professional Golf Tour in
the Nation. With a Series Tour operating in every state within the next five
years, NGT is vastly becoming the preferred Tour to compete on. Touring
Professionals, Head and Assistant Pros, and Collegiate Amateur golfers will
develop their skills in Tour Quality Competition at some of the finest golf
courses in the Nation. Tournament formats vary from 18 to 36 to 54 holes and are
individual stroke play.
The purse at each tournament depends upon sponsors and the number of participants,
but 33% of the field wins prize money at each event. You may choose to enter any event
as an Professional or Amateur. Amateur winners are paid non-cash prizes up to $750 in accordance
with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
Membership is not required to play on TOUR. Non NGT members will pay an additional
fee to play in every event. This fee may vary from series to series. Non NGT members
will not be qualified for the NGT Performance Cup either, which awards the season ending champion PAID ENTRY INTO 2009 PGA Q-SCHOOL.
