2008 NGT Players Championship & Pro-Am Site Announced!
Eagle Creek Golf Club in Hortonville, Wisconsin will play host to the 2008 NGT Players Championship & Pro-Am. Wisconsin is home to the NGT Badger Series. Eagle Creek Golf Club is a Robert Lohmann Design and is a links style course that offers 98 bunkers, 13 ponds and beauty at every turn. This par 72, 7180 yard course also features an 8,000 square foot putting green, a 15-acre driving range with seven target greens, a 10,000 square foot chipping green with two sand bunkers, and two regulation practice holes measuring up to 421 yards each with five sets of tees, bunkers, and a pond. 2008 NGT News
The NGT has made some significant changes this year with the addition of the HANDICAP FLIGHT to all of the NGT events. Players will be able to enter any NGT event in either the traditional OPEN FLIGHT or the HANDICAP FLIGHT. Both flights are completely separate from one another and each flight will compete for its own purse and the top 33% of the field in each flight will be paid!
OPEN FLIGHT players will compete all season long for the 2008 NGT Performance Cup which awards the Champion

NGT Winter Series Performance Cup
Excitement is in the air for the inaugural Winter Series Performance Cup Race. With only one event left in the NGT Winter Series, the Winter Series Performance Cup Race is coming down to two players with the slimmest of margins. Richard Gaona of Miami, AZ with a scoring average of 69.10 leads Andrew Johnson of Mesa, AZ with a scoring average of 69.60. The 2007-08 NGT Winter Series Performance Cup Champion is awarded PAID ENTRY INTO 2009 PGA Q-SCHOOL!!! To qualify for the Winter Series Performance Cup players had to become paid Winter Series members with a membership fee of $250 and to have posted a minimum of 10 rounds. The NGT proudly announces the start of the Badger Series - Wisconsin for the 2008 season. The Lone Star Series - North Texas is back for the 2008 season! The 2008 Lone Star Series will have many new changes and will give DFW area golfers a great opportunity of playing locally without having to incur large traveling and overnight expenses. The 2008 LSS will hold (18) 36 hole events played on Saturday and Sunday's and will also have two flights at each event! Starting in 2008 the NGT will operate its standard OPEN FLIGHT and new for 2008 the HANDICAP FLIGHT. 2007 NGT Performance Cup and NGT Player of the Year Crowned
Austin, TX - October 29th 2007 Congratulations to Derek Brown of Walnut Cove, NC playing out of the Piedmont Series for winning the 2007 NGT Performance Cup. Derek finished with an outstanding scoring average of 68.27 to take the NGT Performance Cup and the PAID ENTRY INTO 2008 PGA Q-SCHOOL AWARD. Derek had a fantastic 2008 season with 10 NGT Wins and finishing 4th on the NGT money list. Derek was also awarded the 2007 NGT Player of the Year award which earns him paid membership into the 2008 NGT tour season as well as exempt status into the 2008 NGT Players Championship. We wish Derek all the best and look forward to following his success in 2008.

NGT Institutes a Player Referral Program (PRP)

Kenmore, WA - Effective Immediately the NGT is instituting a Player Referral Program (PRP), which will award players who are current NGT members or players with the NGT. NGT members and current players who refer another player to play in a NGT event will receive a one time referral fee of $25.00 per player. In addition if a player becomes a NGT member, the referring player will receive a one time referral payment of $50.00. In order for players to receive these referral awards, the player must not have ever played in a NGT event or been a NGT member. Referring players need to advise the potential new player or member to reference their name to get the referral credit.
NGT Makes Changes To Amateur Policies

Kenmore, WA - The NGT has made some changes to the Amateur Policies to gain more Amateur participation and to allow Amateurs to compete with the Professionals at every NGT event. Effective Immediately the new Amateur Entry Fees will be exactly half of what the Professional Entry Fees are for each event in every series. With this dramatic decrease in entry fees, Amateurs will now play for 50% of the Professionals purse up to the maximum USGA allowable amount of $750.00 per event. In addition NGT membership for Amateurs has also been decreased to $150.00 a year.
